Mobile Bar, in Princeton
How we run a Princeton gathering
Getting a bar to Princeton means crossing most of Miami-Dade, about 29 miles of it. We plan a gathering at this distance with an earlier load, an earlier departure, and a setup window that assumes something will go slowly.
Naranja sits about 2 miles from Princeton, with Goulds and Leisure City following. Worth knowing while you are choosing a venue for a gathering, because a room just over the line is priced exactly like a room in town.
People search Princeton because it is where they live rather than because it is a municipality. For a gathering that means county regulations and then your venue's own view on access, timing and how late the bar may run.
Booking a mobile bar in Princeton starts from your timeline rather than ours — when doors open, when the food lands, when the bar goes quiet for speeches, and where last call should sit. The staffing and the menu are built around that.
You hold a Princeton date with a 25% deposit. The balance falls due 48 hours before the gathering, and the deposit stays fully refundable until 7 days out — the same terms here as everywhere else we work.
The quickest way to learn what a Princeton gathering costs is to build it below — no call, no form-then-wait, and nobody standing between you and the figure.
What time do you arrive for a gathering in Princeton?
About 1 hour before service. Over about 29 miles we leave with margin, because arriving early and waiting is a far better failure than arriving late.
We hold that arrival against your run sheet, so if the ceremony or the speeches move, the bar moves with them.
What do you need from a Princeton venue?
Where the truck can stop, and which door the bar comes through. For a gathering that is usually the whole of it, and knowing it in advance is the difference between a calm setup and a scramble.
We will also ask what surface the bar sits on and whether there is cover, since both change the build.
How many bartenders for a Princeton gathering?
It follows the guest count and how long the bar stays open. The wizard on this page sizes it as you fill it in.
Half the bartending quotes we write are for 50 guests or fewer, which is usually one bartender working steadily.
What if my Princeton guests want something not on the menu?
Within reason the bar can handle it — the mixers, juices and garnish we bring cover a good deal more than the printed list.
If there is a drink that really matters to you, tell us early and we will make sure the ingredients are on the truck.
Can the bar stay open longer on the night?
Often, if the crew's schedule allows it. Extra time is added at the same hourly rate rather than at a penalty rate.
It is worth deciding in advance where you want last call, because the hour people regret is almost always the last one.
How much does a gathering in Princeton cost?
From $85/hour with a 3-hour minimum, around $255 at the floor. The hours, the guest count and what you have us bring do the rest.
Build yours in the wizard on this page and the number appears as you go.
YD Cocktails is spectacular to work with. From the very first consultation, to the follow up by Yovana, to the smallest details and questions they asked. All to ensure that every detail was in place, and it was customized for us, family, and friends. From the display menu to the specialty drinks for the house. The drinks were as appealing to the eye as they were to drink Phenomenal presentation and taste. I don’t think Yovana and David had a chance to stop all night. I swear !!!! Even with that they served all kinds of shots and Cuba Libre (Mentirita) on the dance floor to keep the party going. The attention to detail and professionalism is second to none. I asked to add an extra hour at the very last minute as the guest didn’t want them to leave and that was not a problem whatsoever. Delighted and so happy I went with YD Cocktails. HIGHLY HIGLY RECOMMEND !!!!
