What we know about Surfside
What hiring a bar in Surfside looks like
It is about 13 miles from our Hialeah yard to Surfside as the map measures it. We treat that as a straightforward run — one load, one drive, one setup — with a team on site and building before the schedule says it has to be.
Bay Harbor Islands starts under a mile from Surfside, with Bal Harbour and North Bay Village not much further out. This is one of the tightly packed corners of the county, and it shows up in the practical details — narrow streets, shared parking, a load-in that has to be pointed at the right door.
As an incorporated city, Surfside keeps its own book on events — permits, curfews, park bookings and the rest. Ask your venue what applies before you lock a start time. We will build the bar around whatever schedule that leaves you, and we would far rather know the constraint than discover it.
Arrival is scheduled roughly 1 hour before the bar opens, and that window has to cover the load-in from wherever the truck can legally stop. In Surfside that is worth confirming in advance — a long carry is fine when we know about it and a scramble when we do not.
Bartending in Surfside is priced the way it is priced everywhere we work: $85/hour with a 3-hour minimum, and a quote you can see online without waiting for a callback. Crossing the county does not move the hourly rate.
Around 22% of the bartending quotes we write are staff only — no bar, no coolers, no serveware, just the people. If that is all you need in Surfside, it is an entirely ordinary booking rather than an awkward one.
Do you serve Surfside?
Yes. Surfside is about 13 miles east of our Hialeah base and one of the areas we cover as standard, along with Bay Harbor Islands, Bal Harbour and North Bay Village on the same run.
You can price a Surfside date in the wizard on this page and hold it without speaking to anyone first.
Can you set up outdoors in Surfside?
Yes, and most of what we do is outdoors. Tell us what the ground is like and whether there is shade — a bar on grass and a bar on a patio are set up differently, and we would much rather know beforehand.
Ice and coolers are portioned to your guest count either way, so nothing is warming up while the sun is still on the yard.
How many bartenders will I need in Surfside?
It follows the guest count and how long the bar is open more than anything else, and the wizard on this page sizes it as you fill it in.
For a sense of scale: half the bartending quotes we write are for 50 guests or fewer, which is usually one bartender working steadily rather than two standing idle.
How much is a bartender in Surfside?
It starts at $85/hour with a 3-hour minimum — about $255 at the floor — and moves with the hours, the guest count and what you have us bring.
The wizard on this page builds the whole number in front of you. No form-then-wait, and no call before you see a price.
YD Cocktails is spectacular to work with. From the very first consultation, to the follow up by Yovana, to the smallest details and questions they asked. All to ensure that every detail was in place, and it was customized for us, family, and friends. From the display menu to the specialty drinks for the house. The drinks were as appealing to the eye as they were to drink Phenomenal presentation and taste. I don’t think Yovana and David had a chance to stop all night. I swear !!!! Even with that they served all kinds of shots and Cuba Libre (Mentirita) on the dance floor to keep the party going. The attention to detail and professionalism is second to none. I asked to add an extra hour at the very last minute as the guest didn’t want them to leave and that was not a problem whatsoever. Delighted and so happy I went with YD Cocktails. HIGHLY HIGLY RECOMMEND !!!!
