What we know about Doral
Straight answers for Doral hosts
The run from our Hialeah yard out to Doral is about 9 miles, an easy morning either side of the event. That distance changes nothing about what we bring or what it costs, and it leaves room in the day for a setup that is not rushed.
Medley is the nearest place we serve, about 2 miles from you, with Fontainebleau and Virginia Gardens close behind. If your guest list is spread across those, nobody is making an unreasonable journey to get to you, and arrivals tend to bunch rather than trickle.
As an incorporated city, Doral keeps its own book on events — permits, curfews, park bookings and the rest. Ask your venue what applies before you lock a start time. We will build the bar around whatever schedule that leaves you, and we would far rather know the constraint than discover it.
We arrive around 1 hour ahead of your start time, and we treat that as the earliest we ought to be there rather than the latest. Rooms are rarely ready exactly when the schedule says they will be, and a bar that is already built absorbs that far better than one still in boxes.
Dates in Doral are held with a 25% deposit and can be moved free of charge up to 48 hours before the event. Weekend dates go first, which is the only honest reason to book early rather than a sales one.
Around 22% of the bartending quotes we write are staff only — no bar, no coolers, no serveware, just the people. If that is all you need in Doral, it is an entirely ordinary booking rather than an awkward one.
How far are you from Doral?
Our yard is in Hialeah, about 9 miles from Doral as the map measures it. That is separation rather than a drive time — the route matters more than the distance around here — but it gives you the shape of it.
It makes no difference to the rate. Bartending is $85/hour with a 3-hour minimum across the whole service area.
Do you need anything from my Doral venue?
Two things, ideally before the day rather than on it: where the truck can stop, and which door the bar comes through. A long carry is fine when we know about it and a scramble when we do not.
We will also ask what surface the bar is going on and whether there is cover, because both change how we build it.
What happens if it rains on my Doral event?
The bar can move under cover, and we would far rather plan that with you in advance than improvise it on the day — tell us what your fallback is when you book.
If the date has to move altogether it can be rescheduled free of charge up to 48 hours beforehand.
How far ahead should I book a Doral event?
As early as you can, for the dull reason that weekend crews are finite. December is the month we price the most bartending dates in — 13% of them — so a date in that stretch is worth locking down.
A 25% deposit is all it takes to hold one, and it stays refundable until 7 days out.
YD Cocktails is spectacular to work with. From the very first consultation, to the follow up by Yovana, to the smallest details and questions they asked. All to ensure that every detail was in place, and it was customized for us, family, and friends. From the display menu to the specialty drinks for the house. The drinks were as appealing to the eye as they were to drink Phenomenal presentation and taste. I don’t think Yovana and David had a chance to stop all night. I swear !!!! Even with that they served all kinds of shots and Cuba Libre (Mentirita) on the dance floor to keep the party going. The attention to detail and professionalism is second to none. I asked to add an extra hour at the very last minute as the guest didn’t want them to leave and that was not a problem whatsoever. Delighted and so happy I went with YD Cocktails. HIGHLY HIGLY RECOMMEND !!!!
