Booking bartending services here
The bar we build for a Surfside celebration
Surfside is about 13 miles east of our Hialeah yard: far enough that a celebration here gets its drive written into the run sheet, close enough that the drive is never the story of the day.
Bay Harbor Islands is under a mile from Surfside, with Bal Harbour and North Bay Village barely further out. Plenty of Surfside celebrations actually happen a few minutes over one of those lines — still the same booking, still the same price.
Because Surfside is its own city, the rules that shape a celebration here are local ones: how late music may run, where a truck may stand, whether the space needs booking in its own right. We would far rather know the constraint than discover it on the day.
The bartending services you book for Surfside arrives with everything the bar needs already on the truck: menu agreed in advance, kit checked before it leaves, and a crew that has run this setup across Miami-Dade often enough to know what the room will ask for.
The team is on site about 1 hour before service. For a celebration that hour is not padding — it is ice in the coolers, garnish cut, glassware laid out, and a bar standing finished before anyone photographs it.
The quickest way to learn what a Surfside celebration costs is to build it below — no call, no form-then-wait, and nobody standing between you and the figure.
What time do you arrive for a celebration in Surfside?
About 1 hour before service. Over about 13 miles we leave with margin, because arriving early and waiting is a far better failure than arriving late.
We hold that arrival against your run sheet, so if the ceremony or the speeches move, the bar moves with them.
My venue is near Surfside rather than in it — is that a problem?
Not at all. Bay Harbor Islands is under a mile from Surfside, with Bal Harbour and North Bay Village close behind, and all of them price identically.
Give us the real address when you book and we plan the load-in around that rather than around the search term.
Can you design a custom menu for a Surfside celebration?
That is how we normally do it — the list is built around what your guests will actually drink, mocktails and frozen drinks included.
The mixers, juices, garnish and ice to run it arrive with the bar, portioned to your headcount.
How many drinks should I plan for per guest?
It depends far more on the length of service than on the headcount, which is why the wizard asks for hours before it asks for anything else.
Tell it your guest count and how long you want the bar open and it will size the ice, mixers and serveware for you.
Can the bar stay open longer on the night?
Often, if the crew's schedule allows it. Extra time is added at the same hourly rate rather than at a penalty rate.
It is worth deciding in advance where you want last call, because the hour people regret is almost always the last one.
When should I book a Surfside celebration?
Earlier than feels necessary. December is our heaviest month for bartending quotes — 13% of them — and weekend crews run out before dates do.
A 25% deposit holds it and stays refundable until 7 days out, so booking early costs nothing but a decision.
YD Cocktails is spectacular to work with. From the very first consultation, to the follow up by Yovana, to the smallest details and questions they asked. All to ensure that every detail was in place, and it was customized for us, family, and friends. From the display menu to the specialty drinks for the house. The drinks were as appealing to the eye as they were to drink Phenomenal presentation and taste. I don’t think Yovana and David had a chance to stop all night. I swear !!!! Even with that they served all kinds of shots and Cuba Libre (Mentirita) on the dance floor to keep the party going. The attention to detail and professionalism is second to none. I asked to add an extra hour at the very last minute as the guest didn’t want them to leave and that was not a problem whatsoever. Delighted and so happy I went with YD Cocktails. HIGHLY HIGLY RECOMMEND !!!!
