Booking a wedding bartender here
How we run a Florida City wedding
At about 36 miles south, Florida City is one of the longest runs on our list. Nothing is trimmed from the load to make it easier: the wedding bartender that arrives here is the one that arrives anywhere.
Homestead is about a mile from Florida City, with Leisure City and Naranja barely further out. Plenty of Florida City weddings actually happen a few minutes over one of those lines — still the same booking, still the same price.
Because Florida City is its own city, the rules that shape a wedding here are local ones: how late music may run, where a truck may stand, whether the space needs booking in its own right. We would far rather know the constraint than discover it on the day.
The wedding bartender you book for Florida City arrives with everything the bar needs already on the truck: menu agreed in advance, kit checked before it leaves, and a crew that has run this setup across Miami-Dade often enough to know what the room will ask for.
The team is on site about 1 hour before service. For a wedding that hour is not padding — it is ice in the coolers, garnish cut, glassware laid out, and a bar standing finished before anyone photographs it.
Every wedding bartender we run in Florida City is quoted from the same rate card as the rest of Miami-Dade, so the number the wizard gives you is the number we honour when you book it.
How far will you travel for a Florida City wedding?
Florida City is about 36 miles from where we load, and we cover the whole of Miami-Dade. The distance shapes our morning, not your rate — bartending is $85/hour with a 3-hour minimum.
Homestead, Leisure City and Naranja are on the same run, so a venue just over the line is no different to book.
How long does setup take for a wedding in Florida City?
The window is about 1 hour before service, and it has to cover the carry from wherever we can park, the build, the ice and the garnish.
Breakdown runs the same way in reverse, and the space is left as we found it — about 36 miles of drive home notwithstanding.
Can you design a custom menu for a Florida City wedding?
That is how we normally do it — the list is built around what your guests will actually drink, mocktails and frozen drinks included.
The mixers, juices, garnish and ice to run it arrive with the bar, portioned to your headcount.
Do you cater to guests who are not drinking?
Always. Bottled water, soft drinks and a proper mocktail or two are part of how we build a wedding menu, not an afterthought bolted on at the end.
Portions are worked out from your total headcount, so nobody is counting cups at the end of the night.
How long does breakdown take after a wedding?
Less time than setup. The bar comes down, everything goes back on the truck, and the space is left as we found it.
If your venue has a hard curfew, tell us and we will work backwards from it rather than from last call.
When should I book a Florida City wedding?
Earlier than feels necessary. December is our heaviest month for bartending quotes — 13% of them — and weekend crews run out before dates do.
A 25% deposit holds it and stays refundable until 7 days out, so booking early costs nothing but a decision.
YD Cocktails is spectacular to work with. From the very first consultation, to the follow up by Yovana, to the smallest details and questions they asked. All to ensure that every detail was in place, and it was customized for us, family, and friends. From the display menu to the specialty drinks for the house. The drinks were as appealing to the eye as they were to drink Phenomenal presentation and taste. I don’t think Yovana and David had a chance to stop all night. I swear !!!! Even with that they served all kinds of shots and Cuba Libre (Mentirita) on the dance floor to keep the party going. The attention to detail and professionalism is second to none. I asked to add an extra hour at the very last minute as the guest didn’t want them to leave and that was not a problem whatsoever. Delighted and so happy I went with YD Cocktails. HIGHLY HIGLY RECOMMEND !!!!
