Your celebration in Florida City, start to finish
Getting a bar to Florida City means crossing most of Miami-Dade, about 36 miles of it. We plan a celebration at this distance with an earlier load, an earlier departure, and a setup window that assumes something will go slowly.
This is a tightly packed corner of the county: Homestead, Leisure City and Naranja are all a short hop away, the nearest about a mile out. For a celebration that usually means shared parking and a load-in that has to be pointed at the right door, so we ask which entrance is ours.
Florida City runs its own book on events — permits, curfews, park bookings, what may be put up in a public space. Ask your venue which of those touch a celebration before you fix a start time; we will build the bar around whatever schedule it leaves you.
What you actually book for a Florida City celebration is a licensed, insured team, a bar that photographs well, and a drinks list built with you rather than handed to you. What you do not book is a stranger who turns up and asks where the ice is.
Setup starts roughly 1 hour ahead of your start time, and we hold that against your run sheet rather than our own. If the ceremony, the speeches or the entrance move, the bar moves with them.
The quickest way to learn what a Florida City celebration costs is to build it below — no call, no form-then-wait, and nobody standing between you and the figure.
Do you do celebrations in Florida City?
Yes, and it is one of the things we are booked for most. Florida City is about 36 miles south of our Hialeah base, and a celebration here runs on the same kit and the same crew as anywhere else in the county.
You can price yours in the wizard on this page before speaking to anyone.
My venue is near Florida City rather than in it — is that a problem?
Not at all. Homestead is about a mile from Florida City, with Leisure City and Naranja close behind, and all of them price identically.
Give us the real address when you book and we plan the load-in around that rather than around the search term.
How many bartenders for a Florida City celebration?
It follows the guest count and how long the bar stays open. The wizard on this page sizes it as you fill it in.
Half the bartending quotes we write are for 50 guests or fewer, which is usually one bartender working steadily.
What if my Florida City guests want something not on the menu?
Within reason the bar can handle it — the mixers, juices and garnish we bring cover a good deal more than the printed list.
If there is a drink that really matters to you, tell us early and we will make sure the ingredients are on the truck.
When should the bar open at a Florida City celebration?
Usually as guests arrive, and then it follows your run sheet from there — quiet for the speeches, busy again afterwards.
Tell us the shape of the evening and we will staff the peaks rather than spreading the same crew flat across the night.
How much does a celebration in Florida City cost?
From $85/hour with a 3-hour minimum, around $255 at the floor. The hours, the guest count and what you have us bring do the rest.

YD Cocktails is spectacular to work with. From the very first consultation, to the follow up by Yovana, to the smallest details and questions they asked. All to ensure that every detail was in place, and it was customized for us, family, and friends. From the display menu to the specialty drinks for the house. The drinks were as appealing to the eye as they were to drink Phenomenal presentation and taste. I don’t think Yovana and David had a chance to stop all night. I swear !!!! Even with that they served all kinds of shots and Cuba Libre (Mentirita) on the dance floor to keep the party going. The attention to detail and professionalism is second to none. I asked to add an extra hour at the very last minute as the guest didn’t want them to leave and that was not a problem whatsoever. Delighted and so happy I went with YD Cocktails. HIGHLY HIGLY RECOMMEND !!!!
