What Bal Harbour hosts get
The bar we build for a Bal Harbour celebration
A celebration in Bal Harbour means about 13 miles across the county for us. We plan the arrival backwards from your start time rather than forwards from ours, which is the entire reason your schedule survives contact with traffic.
Venue hunting for a celebration in Bal Harbour tends to spill into Surfside and Biscayne Park; Bay Harbor Islands begins under a mile out. We quote the whole cluster identically, so crossing a boundary mid-search never restarts your pricing.
Bal Harbour is a municipality in its own right, which for a celebration mostly shows up as parking and curfew. Tell us what the venue has told you and the setup and breakdown get planned to fit inside it.
For a celebration in Bal Harbour we build the menu around your guests — classics, frozen drinks, mocktails, whatever the room will actually drink — then bring the mixers, juices, garnish, ice, coolers and serveware that make it work.
You hold a Bal Harbour date with a 25% deposit. The balance falls due 48 hours before the celebration, and the deposit stays fully refundable until 7 days out — the same terms here as everywhere else we work.
The quickest way to learn what a Bal Harbour celebration costs is to build it below — no call, no form-then-wait, and nobody standing between you and the figure.
What time do you arrive for a celebration in Bal Harbour?
About 1 hour before service. Over about 13 miles we leave with margin, because arriving early and waiting is a far better failure than arriving late.
We hold that arrival against your run sheet, so if the ceremony or the speeches move, the bar moves with them.
Can the bar go outdoors for a Bal Harbour celebration?
Usually, and most of ours do. Let us know the surface and whether there is shade — a bar on grass and a bar on a patio are built differently.
Ice and coolers are portioned to your guest count either way, so the drinks stay cold from setup through to last call.
Do you clean up after a Bal Harbour celebration?
Breakdown is part of the booking — the bar comes down, everything returns to the truck, and the space is left as we found it.
That holds at about 13 miles out as firmly as it does next door to the yard.
Do you cater to guests who are not drinking?
Always. Bottled water, soft drinks and a proper mocktail or two are part of how we build a celebration menu, not an afterthought bolted on at the end.
Portions are worked out from your total headcount, so nobody is counting cups at the end of the night.
How long does breakdown take after a celebration?
Less time than setup. The bar comes down, everything goes back on the truck, and the space is left as we found it.
If your venue has a hard curfew, tell us and we will work backwards from it rather than from last call.
When should I book a Bal Harbour celebration?
Earlier than feels necessary. December is our heaviest month for bartending quotes — 13% of them — and weekend crews run out before dates do.
A 25% deposit holds it and stays refundable until 7 days out, so booking early costs nothing but a decision.
YD Cocktails is spectacular to work with. From the very first consultation, to the follow up by Yovana, to the smallest details and questions they asked. All to ensure that every detail was in place, and it was customized for us, family, and friends. From the display menu to the specialty drinks for the house. The drinks were as appealing to the eye as they were to drink Phenomenal presentation and taste. I don’t think Yovana and David had a chance to stop all night. I swear !!!! Even with that they served all kinds of shots and Cuba Libre (Mentirita) on the dance floor to keep the party going. The attention to detail and professionalism is second to none. I asked to add an extra hour at the very last minute as the guest didn’t want them to leave and that was not a problem whatsoever. Delighted and so happy I went with YD Cocktails. HIGHLY HIGLY RECOMMEND !!!!
