What South Miami hosts get
How we run a South Miami wedding
There is about 17 miles between our Hialeah base and South Miami. On a wedding at that range we load early and leave early, so the setup window carries slack rather than optimism.
Venue hunting for a wedding in South Miami tends to spill into Coral Gables and Kendall; Glenvar Heights begins about a mile out. We quote the whole cluster identically, so crossing a boundary mid-search never restarts your pricing.
Because South Miami is its own city, the rules that shape a wedding here are local ones: how late music may run, where a truck may stand, whether the space needs booking in its own right. We would far rather know the constraint than discover it on the day.
For a wedding in South Miami we build the menu around your guests — classics, frozen drinks, mocktails, whatever the room will actually drink — then bring the mixers, juices, garnish, ice, coolers and serveware that make it work.
You hold a South Miami date with a 25% deposit. The balance falls due 48 hours before the wedding, and the deposit stays fully refundable until 7 days out — the same terms here as everywhere else we work.
The quickest way to learn what a South Miami wedding costs is to build it below — no call, no form-then-wait, and nobody standing between you and the figure.
What time do you arrive for a wedding in South Miami?
About 1 hour before service. Over about 17 miles we leave with margin, because arriving early and waiting is a far better failure than arriving late.
We hold that arrival against your run sheet, so if the ceremony or the speeches move, the bar moves with them.
What do you need from a South Miami venue?
Where the truck can stop, and which door the bar comes through. For a wedding that is usually the whole of it, and knowing it in advance is the difference between a calm setup and a scramble.
We will also ask what surface the bar sits on and whether there is cover, since both change the build.
Do you clean up after a South Miami wedding?
Breakdown is part of the booking — the bar comes down, everything returns to the truck, and the space is left as we found it.
That holds at about 17 miles out as firmly as it does next door to the yard.
How many drinks should I plan for per guest?
It depends far more on the length of service than on the headcount, which is why the wizard asks for hours before it asks for anything else.
Tell it your guest count and how long you want the bar open and it will size the ice, mixers and serveware for you.
How long does breakdown take after a wedding?
Less time than setup. The bar comes down, everything goes back on the truck, and the space is left as we found it.
If your venue has a hard curfew, tell us and we will work backwards from it rather than from last call.
How much does a wedding in South Miami cost?
From $85/hour with a 3-hour minimum, around $255 at the floor. The hours, the guest count and what you have us bring do the rest.
Build yours in the wizard on this page and the number appears as you go.
YD Cocktails is spectacular to work with. From the very first consultation, to the follow up by Yovana, to the smallest details and questions they asked. All to ensure that every detail was in place, and it was customized for us, family, and friends. From the display menu to the specialty drinks for the house. The drinks were as appealing to the eye as they were to drink Phenomenal presentation and taste. I don’t think Yovana and David had a chance to stop all night. I swear !!!! Even with that they served all kinds of shots and Cuba Libre (Mentirita) on the dance floor to keep the party going. The attention to detail and professionalism is second to none. I asked to add an extra hour at the very last minute as the guest didn’t want them to leave and that was not a problem whatsoever. Delighted and so happy I went with YD Cocktails. HIGHLY HIGLY RECOMMEND !!!!
