Miami Lakes celebrations
How we run a Miami Lakes celebration
A celebration in Miami Lakes is about the shortest run we do — about 3 miles from the yard the truck loads in. The bar, the ice and the glassware are packed minutes from your venue, which is why setups here can start early without anyone leaving home at an unreasonable hour.
Hialeah Gardens sits about 2 miles from Miami Lakes, with Country Club and Opa-locka following. Worth knowing while you are choosing a venue for a celebration, because a room just over the line is priced exactly like a room in town.
Miami Lakes is a municipality in its own right, which for a celebration mostly shows up as parking and curfew. Tell us what the venue has told you and the setup and breakdown get planned to fit inside it.
For a celebration in Miami Lakes we build the menu around your guests — classics, frozen drinks, mocktails, whatever the room will actually drink — then bring the mixers, juices, garnish, ice, coolers and serveware that make it work.
The team is on site about 1 hour before service. For a celebration that hour is not padding — it is ice in the coolers, garnish cut, glassware laid out, and a bar standing finished before anyone photographs it.
If you are comparing options for a celebration in Miami Lakes, price this one first. It takes about as long as reading this paragraph and it hands you a real number to compare against instead of a range.
What time do you arrive for a celebration in Miami Lakes?
About 1 hour before service. Over about 3 miles we leave with margin, because arriving early and waiting is a far better failure than arriving late.
We hold that arrival against your run sheet, so if the ceremony or the speeches move, the bar moves with them.
How long does setup take for a celebration in Miami Lakes?
The window is about 1 hour before service, and it has to cover the carry from wherever we can park, the build, the ice and the garnish.
Breakdown runs the same way in reverse, and the space is left as we found it — about 3 miles of drive home notwithstanding.
Do you clean up after a Miami Lakes celebration?
Breakdown is part of the booking — the bar comes down, everything returns to the truck, and the space is left as we found it.
That holds at about 3 miles out as firmly as it does next door to the yard.
Do you cater to guests who are not drinking?
Always. Bottled water, soft drinks and a proper mocktail or two are part of how we build a celebration menu, not an afterthought bolted on at the end.
Portions are worked out from your total headcount, so nobody is counting cups at the end of the night.
Can the bar stay open longer on the night?
Often, if the crew's schedule allows it. Extra time is added at the same hourly rate rather than at a penalty rate.
It is worth deciding in advance where you want last call, because the hour people regret is almost always the last one.
How much does a celebration in Miami Lakes cost?
From $85/hour with a 3-hour minimum, around $255 at the floor. The hours, the guest count and what you have us bring do the rest.

YD Cocktails is spectacular to work with. From the very first consultation, to the follow up by Yovana, to the smallest details and questions they asked. All to ensure that every detail was in place, and it was customized for us, family, and friends. From the display menu to the specialty drinks for the house. The drinks were as appealing to the eye as they were to drink Phenomenal presentation and taste. I don’t think Yovana and David had a chance to stop all night. I swear !!!! Even with that they served all kinds of shots and Cuba Libre (Mentirita) on the dance floor to keep the party going. The attention to detail and professionalism is second to none. I asked to add an extra hour at the very last minute as the guest didn’t want them to leave and that was not a problem whatsoever. Delighted and so happy I went with YD Cocktails. HIGHLY HIGLY RECOMMEND !!!!
