Miami Beach celebrations
What a Miami Beach celebration actually involves
Miami Beach is a real drive from us, about 16 miles southeast. For a celebration that matters in exactly one way: we settle your access, parking and load-in before the truck leaves, because sorting it out on arrival costs a distance we have already spent.
Measured from the middle, Miami Beach is about 4 miles from North Bay Village, and further still from Miami and El Portal. Access is what we work out first: where the truck stops, how far the kit travels from it, and who opens the door.
Miami Beach runs its own book on events — permits, curfews, park bookings, what may be put up in a public space. Ask your venue which of those touch a celebration before you fix a start time; we will build the bar around whatever schedule it leaves you.
What you actually book for a Miami Beach celebration is a licensed, insured team, a bar that photographs well, and a drinks list built with you rather than handed to you. What you do not book is a stranger who turns up and asks where the ice is.
You hold a Miami Beach date with a 25% deposit. The balance falls due 48 hours before the celebration, and the deposit stays fully refundable until 7 days out — the same terms here as everywhere else we work.
Every bartending services we run in Miami Beach is quoted from the same rate card as the rest of Miami-Dade, so the number the wizard gives you is the number we honour when you book it.
How far will you travel for a Miami Beach celebration?
Miami Beach is about 16 miles from where we load, and we cover the whole of Miami-Dade. The distance shapes our morning, not your rate — bartending is $85/hour with a 3-hour minimum.
North Bay Village, Miami and El Portal are on the same run, so a venue just over the line is no different to book.
Can the bar go outdoors for a Miami Beach celebration?
Usually, and most of ours do. Let us know the surface and whether there is shade — a bar on grass and a bar on a patio are built differently.
Ice and coolers are portioned to your guest count either way, so the drinks stay cold from setup through to last call.
Are your bartenders licensed and insured?
Yes, on every booking. If your Miami Beach venue wants a certificate, ask and we will send it across.
The crew is on site about 1 hour before service and dresses to whatever code the celebration calls for.
How many drinks should I plan for per guest?
It depends far more on the length of service than on the headcount, which is why the wizard asks for hours before it asks for anything else.
Tell it your guest count and how long you want the bar open and it will size the ice, mixers and serveware for you.
How long does breakdown take after a celebration?
Less time than setup. The bar comes down, everything goes back on the truck, and the space is left as we found it.
If your venue has a hard curfew, tell us and we will work backwards from it rather than from last call.
How much does a celebration in Miami Beach cost?
From $85/hour with a 3-hour minimum, around $255 at the floor. The hours, the guest count and what you have us bring do the rest.
Build yours in the wizard on this page and the number appears as you go.
YD Cocktails is spectacular to work with. From the very first consultation, to the follow up by Yovana, to the smallest details and questions they asked. All to ensure that every detail was in place, and it was customized for us, family, and friends. From the display menu to the specialty drinks for the house. The drinks were as appealing to the eye as they were to drink Phenomenal presentation and taste. I don’t think Yovana and David had a chance to stop all night. I swear !!!! Even with that they served all kinds of shots and Cuba Libre (Mentirita) on the dance floor to keep the party going. The attention to detail and professionalism is second to none. I asked to add an extra hour at the very last minute as the guest didn’t want them to leave and that was not a problem whatsoever. Delighted and so happy I went with YD Cocktails. HIGHLY HIGLY RECOMMEND !!!!
