Ice is what houses run short of: 51% of what we price includes it, and 50% includes coolers to keep it in.
It is about 14 miles from where we load out to Tamiami, measured on the map. Booking a private event bartender at that range changes nothing about what turns up — the full bar, the full kit, and a team with time in hand.
Tamiami has University Park and Sweetwater close at hand, the nearest about 2 miles out. Guests coming from that direction arrive together, so we build the private event bar to absorb a front-loaded rush rather than a steady stream.
Tamiami is an unincorporated area rather than a city of its own, so county rules cover your private event and the tighter restrictions come from the venue or the HOA. We ask about both before the truck is scheduled.
Booking a private event bartender in Tamiami covers the whole shift — setup, service, and a breakdown that leaves the space as we found it. You are hiring the people and the equipment, not renting an hourly rate.
The team is on site about 1 hour before service. For a private event that hour is not padding — it is ice in the coolers, garnish cut, glassware laid out, and a bar standing finished before anyone photographs it.
You can have a price for your Tamiami private event before you finish your coffee, and a held date shortly after. Everything above is what happens between those two moments.
Tamiami is about 14 miles from where we load, and we cover the whole of Miami-Dade. The distance shapes our morning, not your rate — bartending is $85/hour with a 3-hour minimum.
University Park, Sweetwater and Kendale Lakes are on the same run, so a venue just over the line is no different to book.
The window is about 1 hour before service, and it has to cover the carry from wherever we can park, the build, the ice and the garnish.
Breakdown runs the same way in reverse, and the space is left as we found it — about 14 miles of drive home notwithstanding.

Half the bartending quotes we write are for 50 guests or fewer, which is usually one bartender working steadily.
Always. Bottled water, soft drinks and a proper mocktail or two are part of how we build a private event menu, not an afterthought bolted on at the end.
Portions are worked out from your total headcount, so nobody is counting cups at the end of the night.
We would rather stay and clear the bar down properly than leave a job half finished, and the crew plans for the evening rather than for the minute.
Anything beyond the booked hours is agreed on the night and charged at the ordinary hourly rate.

A professional portable bar, coolers, ice, mixers, fresh juices and garnish, cups, straws and napkins, and water and soft drinks are all available to add in the quote, along with the bartender. We also carry general liability insurance and can send a certificate of insurance if your building or HOA asks for one.
Ice, and something to keep it in. Across the bartending we've priced, 51% added ice and 50% added coolers — at a venue somebody has already thought about both, and at a house nobody has. They're line items, so put your real guest count in and the quote works out the quantities. If your freezer situation is genuinely handled, leave them off and the price drops.

The drinks were as appealing to the eye as they were to drink Phenomenal presentation and taste. I don’t think Yovana and David had a chance to stop all night. I swear !!!! Even with that they served all kinds of shots and Cuba Libre (Mentirita) on the dance floor to keep the party going. The attention to detail and professionalism is second to none. I asked to add an extra hour at the very last minute as the guest didn’t want them to leave and that was not a problem whatsoever. Delighted and so happy I went with YD Cocktails. HIGHLY HIGLY RECOMMEND !!!!
