Booking a mobile bartender here
The bar we build for a Palmetto Bay party
Running a mobile bartender out to Palmetto Bay is about 22 miles south of work before the bar is even built. That is our side of the arrangement and not yours — but it is why we would rather have your venue details a week out than an hour out.
Palmetto Bay has Palmetto Estates and Cutler Bay close at hand, the nearest about 2 miles out. Guests coming from that direction arrive together, so we build the party bar to absorb a front-loaded rush rather than a steady stream.
Because Palmetto Bay is its own city, the rules that shape a party here are local ones: how late music may run, where a truck may stand, whether the space needs booking in its own right. We would far rather know the constraint than discover it on the day.
What you actually book for a Palmetto Bay party is a licensed, insured team, a bar that photographs well, and a drinks list built with you rather than handed to you. What you do not book is a stranger who turns up and asks where the ice is.
The team is on site about 1 hour before service. For a party that hour is not padding — it is ice in the coolers, garnish cut, glassware laid out, and a bar standing finished before anyone photographs it.
Every mobile bartender we run in Palmetto Bay is quoted from the same rate card as the rest of Miami-Dade, so the number the wizard gives you is the number we honour when you book it.
What time do you arrive for a party in Palmetto Bay?
About 1 hour before service. Over about 22 miles we leave with margin, because arriving early and waiting is a far better failure than arriving late.
We hold that arrival against your run sheet, so if the ceremony or the speeches move, the bar moves with them.
How long does setup take for a party in Palmetto Bay?
The window is about 1 hour before service, and it has to cover the carry from wherever we can park, the build, the ice and the garnish.
Breakdown runs the same way in reverse, and the space is left as we found it — about 22 miles of drive home notwithstanding.
Are your bartenders licensed and insured?
Yes, on every booking. If your Palmetto Bay venue wants a certificate, ask and we will send it across.
The crew is on site about 1 hour before service and dresses to whatever code the party calls for.
Do you cater to guests who are not drinking?
Always. Bottled water, soft drinks and a proper mocktail or two are part of how we build a party menu, not an afterthought bolted on at the end.
Portions are worked out from your total headcount, so nobody is counting cups at the end of the night.
Can the bar stay open longer on the night?
Often, if the crew's schedule allows it. Extra time is added at the same hourly rate rather than at a penalty rate.
It is worth deciding in advance where you want last call, because the hour people regret is almost always the last one.
How do I book a party in Palmetto Bay?

The deposit is fully refundable until 7 days out, and the date can be moved free of charge up to 48 hours before.
YD Cocktails is spectacular to work with. From the very first consultation, to the follow up by Yovana, to the smallest details and questions they asked. All to ensure that every detail was in place, and it was customized for us, family, and friends. From the display menu to the specialty drinks for the house. The drinks were as appealing to the eye as they were to drink Phenomenal presentation and taste. I don’t think Yovana and David had a chance to stop all night. I swear !!!! Even with that they served all kinds of shots and Cuba Libre (Mentirita) on the dance floor to keep the party going. The attention to detail and professionalism is second to none. I asked to add an extra hour at the very last minute as the guest didn’t want them to leave and that was not a problem whatsoever. Delighted and so happy I went with YD Cocktails. HIGHLY HIGLY RECOMMEND !!!!
