What Miami hosts get
How we run a Miami corporate event
Miami is about 14 miles southeast of our Hialeah yard: far enough that a corporate event here gets its drive written into the run sheet, close enough that the drive is never the story of the day.
Measured from the middle, Miami is about 4 miles from Miami Beach, and further still from El Portal and North Bay Village. Access is what we work out first: where the truck stops, how far the kit travels from it, and who opens the door.
Miami is a municipality in its own right, which for a corporate event mostly shows up as parking and curfew. Tell us what the venue has told you and the setup and breakdown get planned to fit inside it.
For a corporate event in Miami we build the menu around your guests — classics, frozen drinks, mocktails, whatever the room will actually drink — then bring the mixers, juices, garnish, ice, coolers and serveware that make it work.
The team is on site about 1 hour before service. For a corporate event that hour is not padding — it is ice in the coolers, garnish cut, glassware laid out, and a bar standing finished before anyone photographs it.
If you are comparing options for a corporate event in Miami, price this one first. It takes about as long as reading this paragraph and it hands you a real number to compare against instead of a range.
What time do you arrive for a corporate event in Miami?
About 1 hour before service. Over about 14 miles we leave with margin, because arriving early and waiting is a far better failure than arriving late.
We hold that arrival against your run sheet, so if the ceremony or the speeches move, the bar moves with them.
What do you need from a Miami venue?
Where the truck can stop, and which door the bar comes through. For a corporate event that is usually the whole of it, and knowing it in advance is the difference between a calm setup and a scramble.
We will also ask what surface the bar sits on and whether there is cover, since both change the build.
Do you clean up after a Miami corporate event?
Breakdown is part of the booking — the bar comes down, everything returns to the truck, and the space is left as we found it.
That holds at about 14 miles out as firmly as it does next door to the yard.
What if my Miami guests want something not on the menu?
Within reason the bar can handle it — the mixers, juices and garnish we bring cover a good deal more than the printed list.
If there is a drink that really matters to you, tell us early and we will make sure the ingredients are on the truck.
What happens if my Miami corporate event runs late?
We would rather stay and clear the bar down properly than leave a job half finished, and the crew plans for the evening rather than for the minute.
Anything beyond the booked hours is agreed on the night and charged at the ordinary hourly rate.
How do I book a corporate event in Miami?
Price it here, then hold the date with a 25% deposit. The balance falls due 48 hours before the corporate event.
The deposit is fully refundable until 7 days out, and the date can be moved free of charge up to 48 hours before.
YD Cocktails is spectacular to work with. From the very first consultation, to the follow up by Yovana, to the smallest details and questions they asked. All to ensure that every detail was in place, and it was customized for us, family, and friends. From the display menu to the specialty drinks for the house. The drinks were as appealing to the eye as they were to drink Phenomenal presentation and taste. I don’t think Yovana and David had a chance to stop all night. I swear !!!! Even with that they served all kinds of shots and Cuba Libre (Mentirita) on the dance floor to keep the party going. The attention to detail and professionalism is second to none. I asked to add an extra hour at the very last minute as the guest didn’t want them to leave and that was not a problem whatsoever. Delighted and so happy I went with YD Cocktails. HIGHLY HIGLY RECOMMEND !!!!
