What El Portal hosts get
The bar we build for a El Portal quinceañera
El Portal is about 10 miles southeast of our Hialeah yard: far enough that a quinceañera here gets its drive written into the run sheet, close enough that the drive is never the story of the day.
Miami Shores is under a mile from El Portal, with Biscayne Park and North Miami barely further out. Plenty of El Portal quinceañeras actually happen a few minutes over one of those lines — still the same booking, still the same price.
Because El Portal is its own city, the rules that shape a quinceañera here are local ones: how late music may run, where a truck may stand, whether the space needs booking in its own right. We would far rather know the constraint than discover it on the day.
What you actually book for a El Portal quinceañera is a licensed, insured team, a bar that photographs well, and a drinks list built with you rather than handed to you. What you do not book is a stranger who turns up and asks where the ice is.
The team is on site about 1 hour before service. For a quinceañera that hour is not padding — it is ice in the coolers, garnish cut, glassware laid out, and a bar standing finished before anyone photographs it.
You can have a price for your El Portal quinceañera before you finish your coffee, and a held date shortly after. Everything above is what happens between those two moments.
What time do you arrive for a quinceañera in El Portal?
About 1 hour before service. Over about 10 miles we leave with margin, because arriving early and waiting is a far better failure than arriving late.
We hold that arrival against your run sheet, so if the ceremony or the speeches move, the bar moves with them.
How long does setup take for a quinceañera in El Portal?
The window is about 1 hour before service, and it has to cover the carry from wherever we can park, the build, the ice and the garnish.
Breakdown runs the same way in reverse, and the space is left as we found it — about 10 miles of drive home notwithstanding.
Can you design a custom menu for a El Portal quinceañera?
That is how we normally do it — the list is built around what your guests will actually drink, mocktails and frozen drinks included.
The mixers, juices, garnish and ice to run it arrive with the bar, portioned to your headcount.
Do you cater to guests who are not drinking?
Always. Bottled water, soft drinks and a proper mocktail or two are part of how we build a quinceañera menu, not an afterthought bolted on at the end.
Portions are worked out from your total headcount, so nobody is counting cups at the end of the night.
What happens if my El Portal quinceañera runs late?
We would rather stay and clear the bar down properly than leave a job half finished, and the crew plans for the evening rather than for the minute.
Anything beyond the booked hours is agreed on the night and charged at the ordinary hourly rate.
How much does a quinceañera in El Portal cost?
From $85/hour with a 3-hour minimum, around $255 at the floor. The hours, the guest count and what you have us bring do the rest.

YD Cocktails is spectacular to work with. From the very first consultation, to the follow up by Yovana, to the smallest details and questions they asked. All to ensure that every detail was in place, and it was customized for us, family, and friends. From the display menu to the specialty drinks for the house. The drinks were as appealing to the eye as they were to drink Phenomenal presentation and taste. I don’t think Yovana and David had a chance to stop all night. I swear !!!! Even with that they served all kinds of shots and Cuba Libre (Mentirita) on the dance floor to keep the party going. The attention to detail and professionalism is second to none. I asked to add an extra hour at the very last minute as the guest didn’t want them to leave and that was not a problem whatsoever. Delighted and so happy I went with YD Cocktails. HIGHLY HIGLY RECOMMEND !!!!
