Coral Gables weddings
The bar we build for a Coral Gables wedding
A wedding in Coral Gables means about 16 miles across the county for us. We plan the arrival backwards from your start time rather than forwards from ours, which is the entire reason your schedule survives contact with traffic.
South Miami sits about 2 miles from Coral Gables, with Coral Terrace and West Miami following. Worth knowing while you are choosing a venue for a wedding, because a room just over the line is priced exactly like a room in town.
Coral Gables runs its own book on events — permits, curfews, park bookings, what may be put up in a public space. Ask your venue which of those touch a wedding before you fix a start time; we will build the bar around whatever schedule it leaves you.
Booking a wedding bartender in Coral Gables covers the whole shift — setup, service, and a breakdown that leaves the space as we found it. You are hiring the people and the equipment, not renting an hourly rate.
Setup starts roughly 1 hour ahead of your start time, and we hold that against your run sheet rather than our own. If the ceremony, the speeches or the entrance move, the bar moves with them.
The quickest way to learn what a Coral Gables wedding costs is to build it below — no call, no form-then-wait, and nobody standing between you and the figure.
Can you handle a large wedding in Coral Gables?
Yes — staffing scales with the headcount and the bar is built to match. For context, half the bartending quotes we write are for 50 guests or fewer, so a bigger room is a question of more hands and more ice rather than a different service.
Put the guest count and the timeline into the wizard and it prices the staffing for you.
How long does setup take for a wedding in Coral Gables?
The window is about 1 hour before service, and it has to cover the carry from wherever we can park, the build, the ice and the garnish.
Breakdown runs the same way in reverse, and the space is left as we found it — about 16 miles of drive home notwithstanding.
Are your bartenders licensed and insured?
Yes, on every booking. If your Coral Gables venue wants a certificate, ask and we will send it across.
The crew is on site about 1 hour before service and dresses to whatever code the wedding calls for.
How many drinks should I plan for per guest?
It depends far more on the length of service than on the headcount, which is why the wizard asks for hours before it asks for anything else.
Tell it your guest count and how long you want the bar open and it will size the ice, mixers and serveware for you.
When should the bar open at a Coral Gables wedding?
Usually as guests arrive, and then it follows your run sheet from there — quiet for the speeches, busy again afterwards.
Tell us the shape of the evening and we will staff the peaks rather than spreading the same crew flat across the night.
How much does a wedding in Coral Gables cost?
From $85/hour with a 3-hour minimum, around $255 at the floor. The hours, the guest count and what you have us bring do the rest.
Build yours in the wizard on this page and the number appears as you go.
YD Cocktails is spectacular to work with. From the very first consultation, to the follow up by Yovana, to the smallest details and questions they asked. All to ensure that every detail was in place, and it was customized for us, family, and friends. From the display menu to the specialty drinks for the house. The drinks were as appealing to the eye as they were to drink Phenomenal presentation and taste. I don’t think Yovana and David had a chance to stop all night. I swear !!!! Even with that they served all kinds of shots and Cuba Libre (Mentirita) on the dance floor to keep the party going. The attention to detail and professionalism is second to none. I asked to add an extra hour at the very last minute as the guest didn’t want them to leave and that was not a problem whatsoever. Delighted and so happy I went with YD Cocktails. HIGHLY HIGLY RECOMMEND !!!!
